About Us

The aim of DHAN is to promote digital methods in Humanities scholarship within trans-, cross- and interdisciplinary frameworks

Objectives

  • To create an enabling environment for the emergence of a vibrant community of DH scholars;
  • to organize countrywide workshops and conferences on digital cultures and digital scholarship;
  • to assist Early Career Researchers in exploring international training and conference attendance opportunities;
  • to collaborate with the Global North on mutually beneficial Digital Humanities projects and initiatives; to propose and support academic programmes in DH at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
  • to contribute towards building a knowledge-based society through town-gown relations for national development;
  • to float and manage a publication outlet for digitally based Humanities scholarship.
